Social Bookmarking

What is social bookmarking? It is tagging a website and saving it for later. Instead of saving them to your web browser, you are saving them to the web.  Since your bookmarks are online, you can easily share them with friends.
Social bookmarking is a useful tool that can be used for educational and recreational purposes. As far as educational purpose go, it can be used to compile together articles for a research paper. For recreational purposes, it can be used to just start a collection of articles on topics that you find interesting. It also allows for you to search what other people have bookmarked.
Some bookmarking sites are specialized  on social bookmarking of news-related items such as politics, sports, and technology. Social bookmarking and social news allow you to specifically target what you want to see instead of going into a search engine. Many social bookmarking sites display recently added lists and popular links,so you can both stay current and see relevant information.
